1 - Q2 Journals & Reading Responses

2 - Signpost Assessment
(A&A, MM, WW)
3 - Q2 Reading Reading Progress
(making strides to progress as a reader - reading multiple genres, reading at least 20 pages a day in a just right book, you can speak about the novel(s) you are reading, you are making goals to progress as a reader)
4 - Plot & Characterization Assessment
5 - Stickman Project
6 - Flash Fiction Formative Assessment
(a reflection on your progress)
7 - Flash Fiction Piece
8 - Reading Reflection
(a reflection of your reading identity)

Be sure to have everything in by Wednesday! That is the last day we as teachers can accept grades.

Flash Fiction

I hope you guys have enjoyed your snow break! The end-of-the-quarter is approaching quickly, especially since you guys keep getting more and more time off for weather. This next unit will go on this quarter, so make sure you are reaching each check-in along the way.

Make sure you are going to Google Classroom to view assignment details, notes, examples, and the rubric for this unit. As we go over more notes, I will add them to the current thread. And as always, if you have questions, feel free to email.
