Weclome 2016-2017

It is hard to believe that I am entering into my 11th year teaching. I was hyper aware of how long I've been teaching when past students came to orientation with their younger brothers and sisters and announced their ages. I feel honored to have been apart of this community since ALMS opened its doors a decade ago. It's been enlightening to be a part of the innovative, open-minded, professional staff who has challenged me and molded me into the educator I have become. I know my ALMS family will continue to inspire and push me to be the best educator I can be.

Some of you had the opportunity to sign-up to volunteer at ALMS and for the 7th grade. If you are interested in volunteering for the 7th grade (field trips, field day, poetry coffee house, lip sync battle, running copies, after school activities, donating supplies, etc.) please go to the lip below, and fill out the 7th grade volunteer google form, and we will contact you about helping us with upcoming events. We believe in building a strong community, and we know that we can do wonderful thing when our parents get involved.

Below you will see the letter I will be sending home the first day, as well as some other information about the me and Ms. Eldridge (my student teacher), my classroom and teaching philosophy, our Purple Parrot team, and the 7th grade.

If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact me. See ya soon!
