So far this week we have gone over rules and procedures, set-up our toolboxes (reading and writing), and started our decoration for our journals (due Tuesday). If you were not here one day during class, please come see me during homebase one day and we will catch you up on your table of contents. Remember, you need 2 composition notebooks for Language Arts class this year. Be sure to have the second one ready on Tuesday.
Next week will be focusing on reading and why it is so important for us to become voracious readers. If you need any information on the first week, I will post the slides we went over in class, so you can reference them outside of school.
Have a wonderfully long weekend, and don't forget to get in some reading.
